Why I Think NetWorkOut Actually Works

Another fantastic NetWorkOut on Friday.

I genuinely believe this is a truly unique networking event.

It always feels like we're in it together!

After 45 minutes of training, we headed to the Marina facilities for a refreshing shower, then enjoyed excellent food at Ketch Rigger and a genuinely productive business chat.

This is our third event now, and it's beginning to build into something special, but that doesn't come without the tremendous support of so many people so far. Thank you all.

Why NetWorkOut Works

Networking, for me, has always been about diversity. Different people, different thinking, different backgrounds all in one room. Hampshire's genuinely brilliant for that, and I've been wanting to build something like this for a number of years now.

This format isn't like the usual approach.

It brings a different edge. A different thought process into how the whole thing comes together.

I've been to plenty of networking events where you're sat around for two or three hours. Coffee after coffee. Pastries. A cooked breakfast on top. And honestly, sometimes it makes you feel sluggish rather than sharp.

Training first changes that completely.

You get the focus from the session, then you sit down to eat and actually enjoy the conversation, properly present—not lethargic from sitting still and overeating for hours.

It brings together like-minded people. But also people who simply want a different way of doing this altogether.

That's really it. That's why I believe this works.
