Why We're Opening Our Doors On The 20th June

Join us for our first open day in 15 years. Discover how our personalised coaching programmes transform lives. Hamble's best-kept fitness secret revealed.

I started Pinnacle Performance in 2011.

We moved into the gym we're in now in 2014, then into this bigger space in 2017. For fifteen years, we have quietly got on with the job. No big announcements. No fanfare. Just coaches who care, turning up every day, changing lives one session, one programme, one person at a time.

That has always been enough for us. We built Pinnacle on referrals and on results. On people telling their friends. On the satisfaction of watching someone walk in uncertain and walk out transformed. Not just physically, but in the way they carry themselves.

We never really needed an open day. The work spoke for itself.

But here we are, coming into our fifteenth year, and something feels different. Something feels like the right moment to stop being the best-kept secret in Hamble and open ourselves up. Not just to our members. Not just to the people who already know what we do. But to anyone who has ever driven past, looked in, wondered and never taken the step.

This is for them.

What We've Built

When people walk into Pinnacle for the first time, they often go quiet for a moment.

From the outside, it looks like an industrial unit on Firefly Road at Hamble Point Marina. From the inside, it is something else entirely. Five thousand square feet of serious coaching facility with strongman equipment, squat racks, sledges, and conditioning space, built not to impress but to perform.

No mirrors. No bravado. No one posing. Just people getting on with their training and improving their lives day by day. That is the culture we have built, and it is the thing we are most proud of.

It is not for everyone. But for the right person, it changes everything.

Who This Open Day Is For

If you have never been inside a coaching facility before and you are ready to do something about your health and your strength, this day is for you.

If you have been training on your own and feel like you have hit a ceiling, this day is for you.

If you are curious about what proper strength and conditioning coaching looks like, what running coaching looks like, what it feels like to train somewhere that takes you seriously, this day is for you.

You do not need to be fit. You do not need experience. You just need to be willing to walk through the door.

What Is Happening on the Day

Saturday 20 June, 9 am to 2 pm, at Pinnacle Performance, Workshop 7, Firefly Road, Hamble Point Marina, Southampton SO31 4NB.

The sessions run all morning. Group training demo, running performance and practical application, mobility training, a strongman group session, and continuous gym tours and demo slots through to 2 pm. Everything is free. You can watch, take part, ask questions or just come and get a feel for the place.

Our coaches and specialists will be on hand all day, covering common injuries and body maintenance, nutrition and supplementation, and there is a Networkout session for anyone interested in the crossover between business networking and exercise. Our beauty therapy team will also be there.

No sales pitch. No pressure. Just an open gym, open coaches and an open invitation.

Why I Am Writing This

I have spent fifteen years building something I believe in. I have watched people come through that door not knowing what they were capable of and leave knowing exactly what they are made of.

I want more people to have that experience. I want the person who has been meaning to sort their training out for the past two years to finally take the step. I want the person who has never set foot in a coaching gym to see what one actually looks like.

On 20th June, the door is open. I would love to see you on the other side of it.

Everyone is welcome.

Andy McGhee
